If Taylor is as good as these 30 points imply, he will be coaching in the BigTen or SEC in 4 years or less.

Stanford almost needs someone not quite as good as this level of hype.  
I am not sure with Muir, but historically too far below 500 would mean getting fired in 3-4 years.
Too far above 500 would mean leaving for a better FBS or an NFL post in 3-4 years.

Ultimately I am just not so sure that 4 and 5 star players (or their parents) from GA, TX, FL or Louisiana will be dazzled by our new west coach guy.  Guess we will see.    

The inevitable drop in recruiting for the next 2 years will not all be on him as the Pac-12 is far from stable, but I hope his staff has someone that can credibly go into The South and get families to take the 40 year leap of faith.
