Interesting quote from Tara in the Mercury News:

“We wanted to be aggressive, we wanted to play fast, that’s how we want to play,” Stanford coach Tara VanDerVeer said. “I think we can even do better. And I think I’ve been holding us back, honestly, I really do.”

So she’s definitely taking some responsibility for our recent struggles.

I would like to see or hear that interview to find out what she meant by that, exactly.  How does she think she held the team back?  Not getting more time for Nivar and Betts?  Loosening up the offense somehow?  Also wonder what was up with Harriel.  She did not play I don't think.  I assume some sort of injury or illness, although she was on the bench.
