No, he shouldn't even give him a call NOW.
1. He wasn't good at Nebraska. In fact, his record at Nebraska is shockingly similar to Haase's at Stanford. No thanks.
2. He "turned around" SJSU to go a whopping 8-8 in the Mountain West this season. Wow! 8-8 in conference!
3. Part of this "turnaround" was bringing in eight transfers. That would be impossible here.
4. The best part? SJSU's star player, Omari Moore, was not one of the transfers...he was recruited by the previous coach. He's not even "Miles' guy."
5. He is only in season 2 at SJSU. That's not nearly enough of a sample size. (Hell, Haase's second season was actually pretty good too at 19-16 and making round 2 of the NIT. Should North Carolina have given him a call NOW based on that "clear turnaround?")
6.His season 2 at Nebraska was a similarly good "turnaround" at 19-13, that was then followed by 3 years of crap. I wouldn't take a chance on that potentially happening again.
