After two rounds, Stanford is tied for 13th with Georgia and BYU at +16. Stanford has put itself in a position to make the top 15 cut. But Stanford is 5 strokes behind 8th place, so there is some work to do to qualify for match play.

Here's one thing to keep in mind -- BYU has already played the third round. To accommodate BYU's rule against competing on Sunday, the NCAA allowed BYU to play the third round on Thursday. BYU scored a poor 303, 23 over par. So BYU's score at the end of three rounds will be +39, which should put them out of contention for the top 15 cut.

I hope the golf gods finally smile on Thor.  We really need him to finally play the kind of round he is capable of while everyone sort of holds on
