From a couple online reports about the WC team and Davidson's form for her NWSL team:
Tierna Davidson:
Unlike some others on this list, Davidson has returned from an ACL injury sustained in 2022 and is playing consistent minutes. But there have been some lapses and nervy moments during games by Davidson, and she was not selected to the roster despite previous experience in the 2019 World Cup and Tokyo Olympics.
*****
Davidson has not been able to find a groove this season in terms of confidence and timing, and that’s kept her from finding anything resembling her best form.

Great story!
Would-be Stanford star Alyssa Thompson ran 11.69 for 100m in high school and finaled at the state meet. 11.69 would've been second fastest for LSJU W T&F this season and would've missed the Pac12 100m finals by 1/100th of a second.
