I agree having a walkon MB is definitely helpful. As I understand it Stanford has these three MBs for 2024.
1.)Francis: someone you want playing for your team in a Final Four match. However her track record on staying healthy has been a roller coaster at times.
2.) A freshman with potential to eventually be very good but probably won't be a dominant middle her freshman year.
3.) A player who probably is a walk-on with unknown skill set, at least to me.
Correct me if I'm wrong about this. If there was an elite 2024 MB committing to Stanford it would be public knowledge by now.
Bummer about 2025 MB Alevok. She had dozens of schools recruiting her so it was a long shot.
As far as I know these 2025 MBs are still not committed:
6'4" Kenna Cogill; I heard Nebraska might be her first choice but also interested in Stanford.
6'2" Taylor Harvey; Jordyn's little sister. I heard she wants to play both VB and BB. If so Stanford is out of the running. Taylor is my first choice for MB. Hopefully her sister enjoys freshman year with Stanford and says good things about Hambly and team.
Zoe Gillen-Malveaux; attends a top rated, private high school if that means anything?
