Exactly what does, if anything, is at this time unknown. IMO it requires somebody who can adapt to the unique social and political situation at UCB while also possessing a great football mind and the ability to extract good performance out of a staff that isn't really "up to par" with "major programs". Can it be done? Short term, maybe. Long term, no. But how many programs achieve "long term" (say > 5 years in a row of top 10) anyway?
