His play is amazing. Earlier today Luck was #4 on ESPN's QBR list. Look at the names left in front of him, and be amazed. The Colts story is now just so much bigger than the game of football, so it is great that a lot of people probably want the Colts to do well.
On the Stanford front, many programs would have fallen a lot after losing this type of #1 NFL draft pick. 7-2 is not that bad, and now Hogan is protected because he is technically succeeding Nunes.
FWIW - Luck in the NFL is probably going to pay dividends for Stanford recruiting for many, many years to come.
