That said, I can see lots of good reasons to leave UW. They are going into a new conference, which is going to add considerable stress. Also, the team is losing most of it's "star" players, not just Penix. It will undoubtedly require a bit of a rebuild. Given all that, DeBoer probably figured it was a good time to leave.
