On the down side: Muir probably just extended Haase's contract...

Remember the old days in football when if we beat Kal the season was a success regardless what happened in the rest of it.
Maybe that has now been translated to men's basketball.

In 1991 when the Kal team was supposedly all that and Tommy Vardell ripped them to shreds, I heard a Bear fan say in all seriousness that he’d rather his team go 2-9 with a win over Stanford than 9-2 with a loss to LSJU. I told him (in all seriousness) that he was nuts.
