The deal values the women's tournament at $65 million/year, which is 10x the previous valuation, but also less than 1/10th the men's. Before the recent jump in viewership the last couple years, women's championship viewership was about 5 million, about 1/3 to 1/4 the men's championship viewership (the WSJ article has viewership dating back to 2014).
The men's deal was last extended in 2016.
