Isn’t it more of an advantage to let the other team choose first, so you can react to them? How come Walker likes to go first?

I wonder if it's because she can pick our player for the first match which is an important position, and she also gets to decide the last two matchups (among the 2 players each left), which allows her to set 3 matches though constrained by the other coaches choices? Just a thought
