I wonder how much autonomy she has. For a variety of reasons, most of them institutional, I suspect not much.
1. What is the goal of our NIL program? To be competitive with other schools? How competitive?
2. What restrictions do we have on sourcing NIL money?
3. Are "private donors" prohibited from making end runs around the bureaucracy? How?
4. Can our scholar-athletes (continue to) hire their own NIL or business managers? How does that fit in with LSJU? How does that affect eligibility?
5. Or is this just about "slicing the pie" between different sports and among the athletes in each sport?
Seems like a press conference addressing the above could be appropriate.
