Bryce Love could have been a transcendental player. But he seems like he'll be a great human, great Stanford alum, and that alone makes him worth knowing.
Makes me think of all the football players who, for whatever reason, passed on Stanford. For a variety of reasons, I've known many ex-Stanford football players. To a man, they're accomplished, solid people. Most have done quite well, and many of them are quite prominent. The 40-year decision is pretty important, and having a Stanford degree isn't having the wind at your back...it's having a hurricane at your back. Wish more athletes in general and football players in particular, realized that.
