The future is bright, but the present is even brighter.

It's going to be hard to top the emotions of this year's victory.  Losing Heck and Engleman is a blow but we gain 4 of the top 10 women's golf recruits, with what some are calling the best overall recruiting class in women's golf history.

Considering that today is a new world in college athletics, I cannot help but wonder how things will play out for the Stanford Women's Golf Team.  The Stanford site shows 8 players on this years team, and three will leave, leaving 5.  We get 4 more very highly rated players, leaving us with 9 going into next season.  Playing 5 and counting 4 means more than one very good player is going to be sitting out tournaments.  Will they stick it out and work even harder like Rachel or move on via the portal.  It may prove that one one can have too much of a good thing.
