(Cal was going wherever Stanford dragged it.)
It will be interesting to see if Stanford regrets taking a of immense proportions pay cut to join the ACC. But good to know Kentucky is in conference now. Not too hard to beat in football and sort of overrated in hoops.
Notre Dame also needs to get off their independent football ass and go full-in on the ACC. I'm sure they have a special playoff carve out, but it's BS.
[[[ Hi Jacket3ree, hope all is well. Just to clarify, I think above you mention that 'Kentucky is in conference now'; If this was meant to mean that 'the University of Kentucky Wildcats' are in conference (the ACC)' this not the case. Kentucky (the University of Kentucky Wildcats, famous for basketball where Coach John Calipari used to coach) is in the SEC not the ACC. On the other hand Louisville (which is in the State of Kentucky) is in the ACC. Just thought I would clarify. My opinion about this overall thread, is that it was a good decision for StanU to join the ACC, over some reconstituted Pac12. The passion in the ACC for Football & Mens Basketball will incentivize & drive Stanford to 'change its lazy, laissez-faire attitude towards Football, Mens Basketball, Overly restrictive Admissions Requirements, & NIL" ...which are things we have been 'stuck in our old ways at Stanford' for way too long !
