I don't disagree with that idea that Luck is not #1 at the moment. RGIII, Robinson and others have all looked great putting up Xbox or PS type numbers.
For the last several years the Voldemort has been awarded to a player on a team in the running for the BCS title in November & December. That logic will almost certainly apply again this year. My guess is that many of the greats from September are in systems that will not have enough wins in November.
If Stanford is 13-0 or 12-1 in December then look for Luck to take the prize. If Stanford is 11-1, then others might jump ahead. If Stanford is "only" 10-2, or worse :'(, then others will almost certainly jump ahead.
