With all the changes in what it means to be a “senior,” I think it’s reasonable to redefine it as “using one’s last year of eligibility.”
I actually thought it was weird that people could get two senior days. It’s a special day for the end of your collegiate career.
Some people are really freaking out. Thoughts?

“Stanford football coach Troy Taylor confirmed that his program will institute a controversial new Senior Day policy for the end of this season. Rumors began to swirl Tuesday that Cardinal seniors would not be allowed to participate in the Senior Day festivities if they had any NCAA eligibility left.”
I would let those expected to graduate in June walk if they want to even if they have eligibility remaining
Yes, if they have done the work and walked the walk and are graduating, even with eligibility left, they deserve the Senior day. The idea that you go to college to get a degree and go on to do whatever it is you want to do is basically the Universities purpose.
I would even have said that when MOC graduated in three years and went on to play basketball elsewhere, he deserved a senior day.
