Except... the linebacker had Lamson dead to rights and had he taken even a fraction of a second longer, he would have been sacked, and Mosely was covered, though he had a step on his DB. By the way, Sam Roush totally ran by his coverage and there was a pretty egregious hold by what looks like #11 (though that number is listed as a TE on Louisville's roster) who just grabs his pants.

I missed that uncalled penalty.
Just add it to the list of bad refereeing in the game.
The targeting call on Franklin and the no-call on the very late (long after the whistle) MMA throwdown of Cole Tabb that injured him out of the game. Couple of worst calls/no calls this season.
I attended the Syracuse-Cal game last week and saw some of the most laughable, head-scratching officiating in recent memory. Did the ACC bring in Pac12 reject-refs? BTW, the 'Cuse tortured the weenies all day. Final score was not indicative at all. I'm a Syracuse dad and I wanted a preview of the weenies (they're eminently beatable -- but probably not by Stanford this year).
Is heartwarming to hear the 'Cuse tortured the weenies. When we were both conference-less wanderers in a desolate landscape, I had an almost affectionate affinity for their wellbeing, and wishes for a safe landing spot. Now that we are both in the ACC and remain conference rivals, I'm back to the much more comfortable and familiar attitude of hoping they get battered and pummeled, especially by us this Sat.
While it was always a logical possibility that we could Beat Cal this Sat, after the Louisville miracle, I'm much more optimistic that we can Beat Cal. However, I will wait til putting in my pick into the CardBoard contest, you know the one that has highly valuable prizes awarded to the season winners, until I hear if Coach TT has anything significant to say about our gazillion injuries and if any of them will be back available to play this weekend, or if he's planning to throw jerseys onto any live body students he can find, even EE majors, just to fill out the roster (no offense to EE's of course).
