Jeff Lamson got 3.5 years in prison for those crimes back in 1997. He was working as an accountant when he was out on bail.
18 years later, an accountant named Jeff Lamson of El Dorado Hills got 2.5 years for embezzling $400,000. Age is consistent with the former Cupertino coach/felon, and Justin Lamson is from El Dorado Hills as is Jeff Lamson. I wonder if it was the same man?
