Remember Chase Beeler.  He committed to Oklahoma because his mother would not sign his commitment to Stanford.  He had not yet turned 18.  So, he waited and transferred to Stanford after his first season at Oklahoma.  He was 18 and able to make that decision.  He became an All-American center playing for Stanford.

I believe this was Glyn Milburn, not Chase Beeler.

Thanks for pointing that out.  Glyn Milburn and Chase Beeler are both examples of Sooners that later matriculated to Stanford.  Milburn attended the University of Oklahoma in 1988 and Stanford from 1990 to 1992.  Beeler played for Oklahoma in 2006, sat out 2007 for transfer rules, and completed his college career at Stanford from 2008-2010.
