And this is awesome!  In contrast, I remember Gerhard Casper being trotted out to the Maples floor at a MBB game half-time not long after he became president.  He stood there looking totally befuddled for a moment, and then after some prompting from a handler on the sideline, half-heartedly blurted out, "Ummm - go Stanford." to the crowd before retreating back off the court - painful....

Was this Casper's first year at the helm?  If so, it would have only gotten better from there.  (That was the 1992-93 team that went 7-23, 2-16)
