Thank you for the post.  Here's a link to the congressman Baumgartner's page on the bill.   I'm thrilled that someone is trying to wade into this mess and agree that it's going to take time to sort out.   My biggest fear with all of this is that it will lead to fewer and fewer funded programs in the non-revenue sports as schools flow all dollars and attention to the revenue sports.  That will in turn, tank the level of competition (fewer programs) and schools like Stanford will be unable to fund as many Olympic sports.   Fewer teams, less competition, fewer medals, less interest...
