Weird interview, probably worth watching. He says as a sports fan, not much changes and then lists a whole bunch of changes he expects (and is probably right about). The end of the interview is also interesting because he expects more lawsuits (around title IX) and talks about what teams want congress and the president to do.  Hard to see any consensus about doing anything though until a bunch of athletic departments are functionally bankrupt.

That's the problem with an arms race. It takes colleges out of the competition. And maybe that's a good thing, in the long run. In the short run, especially with contractual commitments, lots of grief.
