Thanks the reference. Found the article.
As befits our well earned lack of preseason respect, our QB is ranked last among ACC QB's.
Article puts them like this:
2. Cade Klubnik, Clemson
8. Carson Beck, Miami
14. Kevin Jennings, SMU
17. Haynes King, Georgia Tech
22. Darian Mensah, Duke
35. Miller Moss, Louisville
41. Eli Holstein, Pitt
42. CJ Bailey, NC State
45. Gio Lopez, NC
48. Kyron Drones, VaTech
61. Thomas Castallanos, Fla State
63. Chandler Morris, Virginia
74. Steve Angeli, Syracuse
78. Dylan Lonergan, BC
79. J. Sagapolutele, Cal
(88. Bear Bachmeier, BYU)
108. Robby Ashford, WakeForest
114. Ben Gulbranson, Stanford
And says this politely about our QB:
After arriving on the Farm following spring practice, Gulbranson made a quick impression on Stanford’s offensive staff.
Redshirt freshman Elijah Brown entered fall practice with an edge in the quarterback battle, but Gulbranson was named the starter prior to the Week Zero showdown against Hawaii.
In 18 appearances with Oregon State, Gulbranson threw for 2,648 yards and 15 touchdowns.
With question marks along the offensive line and at receiver, Gulbranson will be navigating a supporting cast in transition early in the ’25 campaign.
Clearly there's only one way to dig out of this big preseason hole in which we find ourselves.
If bear stayed and was named the starter, he would have the same ranking as gulbranson.
