I hate everything about this ... I keep closing my eyes and hoping that when I reopen them this mutation that is modern college sports will just disappear like the bogeyman from a bad nightmare.  It's sucked most of the joy out of it for me.  

Other than Stanford, I no longer care about college football and watch pro sports and the occasional NCAA sport that seems more or less free from the contagion (Golf?  Women's Tennis? Women's Volleyball?).  Not even sure who was the NCAA football champion the last few years.  Don't care so no need to tell me.

All of this makes me sad.  I hope someone enjoys whatever constitute NCAA football nowadays but no one in my house does anymore.
