Adrenaline only works for so long. I had a feeling that they were going to be hurting coming out of halftime, and I think that was the case. Once you sit down, so to speak, it gets a little harder to get up when fatigue is setting in like that. If BC was taking exogenous adrenaline...if we think body clock wasn't a factor...then this Stanford team might be much better than expected now. But after that Northwestern game almost a decade ago, I think we all know that everything, including biology, affects sports performance.
