I'm terrible at tilting things. Copy editors have only made the dependence more insidious.

Anyway-- Cotton is the only for-sure TE. Taboada can play either OLB or TE (and I believe most schools recruiting him preferred him on defense). So I'm sure we could make room if interested.

I once questioned a set of coaches for signing 4 highly evaluated TEs in one class.  Then Jordan Najvar transferred, and Zach Ertz, Levine Toilolo and Ryan Hewitt turned out to find plenty of playing time.  If the coaches believe in Smythe, and he wants to join the fun here (and passes admissions, of course) then bring him on!
