On the offensive side, all year I have watched our o-line and big RBs look unstoppable as they line up. But when they snap the ball, the defense often beats the blocks and Stepfan is hit in the backfield. We seem to have a lot these slow-developing running plays with people pulling, lots of tonnage in motion, but that go nowhere, notwithstanding the size and apparent strength of the players. How many 2nd-and-13s can we face and keep on winning?
On defense, how do we cope with Wisconsin if they get the ball to Montee Ball out in space on a screen pass with the receivers as blockers, the way UCLA did with Franklin in game #2? We react by moving LBs out to cover that area and then they break it up the middle.
On the good news front, the L.A. Times is picking Wisconsin.
