I just don't understand Reich sticking with Gulbranson as long as he did.

Simply baffling.  In my 50+ years watching this team, I can't remember anything quite like this.  Brown is more accurate, more mobile, more decisive, has more touch, just better -- and it's not particularly close.  Anyone know if Stanford made an over-sized financial commitment to get Gulbranson?  Wondering if the coaching staff didn't want to be seen wasting money on a player?  "Something' must be happening behind the scenes -- I can't imagine Reich could watch this year's QB play and genuinely think Gulbranson puts the team in the best position to win.
