A bit more on the gambling-related harassment of players (sorry, probably behind a paywall).

The whole thing stinks to high heaven, but if you grant the article’s premise that “Legalisation has virtues. It has brought a vast illicit gambling economy into the open where it is subject to oversight and taxation.” it is high time to reform the system. Get rid of prop betting, especially anything involving an individual player. Get rid of ads for gambling in NCAA games.
