According to this article, it's the first time an unanimous All-American tight end did not win the Mackey Award.  Oh and Shaw is a finalist for the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award.

With regards to this injustice to Zach Ertz, I'm calling these voters out on Notre Dame bias.
