regarding alumni, I would guess A&M has substantially more within driving distance of their campus than we do

total alums ~250k

total alums undergrad only ~90k
total alums grad only ~130k
total alums grad and undergrad ~25k

alums by location (undergrad + grad + grad/undergrad)

total alums in the US ~225k
total alums in the Bay Area ~60k
total alums in LA ~12k
total alums in Seattle ~12k
total alums in NY ~8k
total alums in Wash DC ~7k
no other locations with over 5k
