Even against an ACC bottom dweller in Boston College, Stanford's offense continues to look slow and very mechanical. Some of the subs were not even looking at the basket when they got the pass. If Stanford was a good 3-point shooting team, the offense they run might have some merit, but considering their 30.3% shooting percentage, it's a risky proposition and it limits offensive rebounding. If Stanford was capable of setting good, strong screens there would be more opportunities for clearer drives to the basket, but even Boston College sets better screens. I think the pre-season 6th. place projected ACC finish might be a bit generous.
Syracuse will be more challenging.
