It was indeed a good win for Fery who seems to have a knack for drawing the 20th seed and upsetting them as he beat 20th seed Popyrin at Wimbledon in 2025. That said - not much to read into the tea leaves here as his opponent was apparently sick but tried to battle it out. We'll see how he does from here.
