Despite the cross-country trip, this feels like a must-win. If favored Clemson & Syracuse can prevail over Va Tech & Cal in the 4pm games, a Stanford victory would boost them into a tie for 9th place in the ACC (and the final bye for the ACC tourney).

Syracuse beat Cal in OT, but VTech upset Clemson, so Stanford is now in a multi-way tie for 10th.  No idea how the tiebreakers go, and in any case there are plenty of games left to move up (hopefully) or down.
