Prior to the game yesterday, I said we needed to have Toni and Jos have great games to win. Toni at least tried to attack. But for me, the game really ended with about 10 minutes left, when Jos, under the basket, got an offensive rebound because 3 defenders were hacking at Chiney, and instead of going back up from literally one foot against maybe one 5'8" or so defender, put the ball on the floor and dribbled back out to the perimeter.
As people have said, playing tight, scared or intimidated was definitely the mode last night. But when a 6'4" power forward, down double digits in the second half, defaults to "I shouldn't immediately go back up with this ball from inside 2 feet," something is wrong. That may be the correct play up double digits, but certainly not last night.
