I did leave LAX this morning with regrets of not having met more of you and seen friends I'd intended to see over the weekend (but didn't for various reasons). But with perspective, the game was what mattered, and there should be other opportunities to see you all in the future.
I didn't make it over to the band section for the alma mater. I was in the northwest corner, front row seats, and when the players came over to see family, Devon Cajuste's mother made her way next to me, where Devon found her for a very emotional post-game hug. Definitely worth skipping the first half of band's post-game field show. I think I saw some other players further down the row hugging parents and such--I'll have to go back to my camera to check who I saw. My group wanted dinner more immediately than traffic would afford us heading over to Antonio's, so we met up with a couple other Stanford friends for dinner at the Yard House in Pasadena--overpriced, even for California ;)
