I too was able to watch the game with my entire family, albeit from our sofa, also with an 18 year old son who was five when we last saw Stanford take on Wisconsin. He leaves for an indefinite period of time tomorrow, so it was somewhat bittersweet. (Mostly sweet.)
We knew it was in the bag right from the opening drive despite NOT DEFERRING (my son has a brobdingnagian thing about that), and butterfingered defensive back seven play throughout much of the game. How many tips to receivers were there? Usua just put the final lid on it. (Not bad for a Bellarmine kid.) I'm so jaded by following too many teams at this point in my life that the absence of losing is a bigger deal than actually winning; and running out to watch Django (the "D" is silent m...........) after the game was very peaceful. Well as peaceful as it can be with 3 hours of exploding Tarantino ketchup packets tossed in the mix.
I figure sitting through the 9 possession/9 touchdown Kraftwerk Bowl left enough karmic change for two more touchdowns than I needed for the final two games of our trifecta. I actually expected Stanford to do to Wisconsin what they did to us in 2000 (and it was a pretty close reversal other than the start), but Monday's Sun Bowl was a complete stunner.

Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working .I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. Peter Gibbons
