There was at least one occasion when my brother and a bunch of other high schoolers were taken out of high school to emplace sand bags. Curious to see how high the ocean levels get.
We're running out of sand. Not related to El Nino, but interesting.
I didn't realize there were hurricanes in the Pacific. My brother lives in Carlsbad, I wonder if he's noted the sand loss?
