Stanford only drops to 13th in the AVCA poll. Still ahead of Texas A&M (14) and Penn State (16) and just behind ASU (12) even though Stanford got swept by ASU and Penn State and only won one game vs. Texas A&M.
But the Cardinal now gets a chance to build back up its fundamentals and confidence and (we hope) stack some wins. Of the 18 remaining conference games, only 3 are against current top 25 teams and 2 of them are Louisville and Pitt. The other is North Carolina. Nowhere to go except up right now. Stanford is tied for last in the ACC.
