This is an awful bill that basically gives the NCAA carte blanche to undo all of the good that various court cases have done for players.

I'm not convinced that putting money into young people's pockets is worth the negative effects to their education (disruption from transferring schools, potential future cuts to non-revenue sports, etc.)

Some athletes will be better off (more money and get the most out of their education) and others will be worse off than if they went to school and played 15 years ago. Impossible to measure the net benefit, but my hunch is that in aggregate the recent evolution of college sports is a negative for the players as well.

Doesn't invalidate your view, but I don't think it's black and white.
