Actually when Gene Washington played QB, Plunkett was a freshman.
Plunkett redshirted as a sophomore when Washington was moved to WR.
And of course, Washington was his primary target when Plunkett emerged as the starter in 1968.
Seems like a good player and if you use the Harbaugh philosophy that too many QB's is an oxymoron maybe we should go for it. He is listed on Rivals as having an offer.
