ESPN has a recruiting roundup, and I think it further supports the argument that this is a strong class, at least compared to the rest of the conference:

We have 12 commitments. Of those commitments, five of them are ESPN top 300. Only two schools have an equal or larger number of ESPN 300 commits. Only USC has a higher percentage of ESPN 300 commits. This may not be a class on par with last year's, but it's nothing to be sneezed at.
