Leftcoast, maybe I should have clarified "disproportionately".    I was comparing Stanford vs. colleges in general moreso than our Pac 12 counterparts.  A lot of "college town" schools (think Kansas, Kentucky, maybe Arizona) have so much demand that game times can be tweaked for TV without emptying a lot of seats. Not true for Stanford.  When the Pac 12 schedules our games at weird times, whether that's a Friday night football Championship game or 6pm Wednesday basketball game, our seats empty out more than other schools, I think.  You are right to point out some of our Pac 12 members are also hurt -- I would bet that Washington, UCLA, USC, Cal and ASU are also seeing attendance hurt by the variety in the game times.  I am not sure the Pac 12 gurus know their customers all that well.
