In case you wanted another reassuring take, here's Wilner and a couple of FOX analysts on our class (as well as Cal's SJSU's).
For the lazy here's the bit on Stanford:

Overview: The Cardinal has a small senior class and just over a dozen scholarships available. Because quantity affects the recruiting rankings, the class is rated only No. 55 by Scout and No. 60 by Rivals — a source of concern for the  faithful.

It grades out far better — middle of the Pac — when you consider only the average number of stars per player.

But Stanford doesn’t always follow the standard script when it comes to recruiting, preferring instead to identify players who fit its brand of physical football.

(Nobody recruits fullbacks and tight ends like the Cardinal.)

Unlike last year, signing day should be fairly quiet. The Cardinal has already moved on to the class of 2014.

Biggins says: “Fans should not be concerned at all.

“They got the QB they wanted in Ryan Burns, and I love their tight ends — they’re quickly becoming Tight End U.

“Kevin Palma, Sean Barton and Peter Kalambayi make up a great linebacker corp, and Francis Owusu is one of the fastest and most under-rated receivers in the region.

“When you combine this class with last year’s haul, they did an amazing job and filled all their needs.”

Huffman says: ”There is a lot of worry among Stanford fans that the class isn’t perceived as being very good, but that’s because it’s small.

“They did a good job filling needs; they always do a good job identifying guys who fit their style of play.

“They have been able to turn their attention to the juniors because the current class is easy to maintain. I expect their ’14 class to be close to what they signed last year in terms of how it’s received.”
