It all started as an attempt to rewrite history. The idea was to reverse the history of the 20th century by reversing the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo, thus sparing the world the effects on history of the WWI and its child WWII-- Nazism and Communism being the two biggies. But the bill for the digital effects alone topped $300 million so even looting the Cardboard web-hosting fund wouldn't help me clear that hurdle.Â
But the idea of running things in reverse had other possibilities. We could run crimes backwards. So we started with the crimes that have everyone outraged. Of course, the first thing we did was reverse the 1982 Big Game. Then Ron Ayala's last second field goal in 1969 goes wide right and Plunkett gets his first victory over USC a year early. We left 1991 Big Mouth Game vs. K.al untouched because it was the same ass-kicking run forwards or backwards.
