Yeah, I'm surprised so many people are sure Dawkins won't get fired. Play the old Keynes game with the stock market -- instead of trying to figure out what other people think, figure out what's the most reasonable interpretation of the situation. It's pretty obvious that Dawkins' performance is below recent historical standards of the program; nor is there any obvious shock to the system that would make these standards (or even a bit worse, e.g. tournament three out of five years, we'll say) unattainable. Moreover, the fans have signalled their preferences -- they aren't coming to the games and aren't talking about the games, which is perhaps worse. So you fire him.
