If it is an autoimmune disease, it could be one of 40 different types of disease. As such, it is very reasonable that they do not know as many are difficult to diagnose. HIPPA is in place to protect patient privacy for number of reasons, including getting a job, credit, housing, etc. Some of these things may not be needed for a D1 athlete at that moment, but I'm all for respecting Toni's privacy now and for her life after bball.
