You can't hold people to the standard of spelling correctly on Twitter and in text messages. It's one of my pet peeves that text and Twitter language finds itself into emails and even message board posts. It irks me, for example when someone type "ppl" for "people."
Anyway, to me, it's refreshing to see someone like Baldwin use his position of influence to impart his perspective on the world. The average person in a corporate environment can't say such things and still have a job. As long as Baldwin can catch a football and run fast, he has no such worries about being employed and voicing provocative opinions. And if he manages his earnings well, he may always be able to be as outspoken as he wishes to be, and never have to conform. It isn't easy for most people to be non-conformist.
